How to replace word in template ???

Hello

Since I run a Story type website not an Article one, can you please guide me on how can I change every word that come with the site template from "Articles" to "Stories" and word singular "Article" to "Story"

Which files I should edit to replace these words ??

Greetings and welcome to our support forums!

You can do the following:
Go to Admin Panel -> Language Manager

then click Edit phrase text. Then in Filter for Value: input 'Articles'. It will show search results in the page and you can double click on that text and change it to whatever you need.

thank you so much it did works, this script is so smarty in fact it's the most smart script I have ever dealt with so far

I'm now discovering the script and trying things out understand every aspect of the script

there is one problem , when I try the search function, it search in accounts user name not for articles that's weird I mean if I write an article name in the search box it always say nothing found but if I write a user name it show me the user

I went to "Article Fields" and I check if the "Title" field is searchable and it's already ON

do I miss something here ?

and also in free templates section I saw some templates have old versions like "1.1.00" , does that mean I can't use those templates ? I must stick with 2.3 templates ?

Search problem - yes, when you search for account username it will return the account profiles not the articles, if you want to see the articles of that account simply click on View Account and you'll see them. If you input some words from your article title - it should return article. Please submit a ticket in case it is not working as intended.

Yes, but if you like some of our old templates - let us know the list and we will update them asap.

thanks , the search problem is solved and it search for both articles and accounts , I don't know how it's been fixed It just fixed by itself after new script installation , now all works I can even search for words inside the articles

I'm using brightlife_2.0.3 template , it's very nice and have compatible version

wow I think my site will be completed in two or three days, I have few meta tags and descriptions to fill up

I didn't know how to change the meta tags for home page and now I find it

If you need urgent fixes for the issues you have - please submit a ticket in our helpdesk and the guys will take care of it. Though I think we will release a new version of our articles package soon, including all the fixes for 2.0.3 core also.
