Can't Send Mail

How do I use the mail configuration? My people are not getting the registration emails that the system sends.

Hmm, please submit a ticket with your FTP details and we will investigate the problem. Emails are sent correctly in our demos. We need to check your mail configuration also.

I'm having this problem if I set mail to Mail method php mail it sends out the Account Registration mail, but will not send any other type i.e

If I set it to smtp nothing works. The outgoing mail server requires authentication, and you provide no way of doing this.

Account Removed
Forgot Password
Password Change Request
Account Approved
Account Dispproved
Article Alerts
When article approved
When article rejected
When article suspended

Furthermore, I cannot see how you can use this mail system to mass mail accounts.
It needs a way to bring up the required mail template to send mail.

Simply sending out a generic rejection mail will not explain why their article was rejected and what they need to do to get it included.
