Writable .htaccess
Hi. I think Subrion needs to have writable .htaccess file for plugins and packages installations (like, e.g. Wordpress). Cause Subrion's plugins and packages are very important parts of CMS, their installation would become more flexible with writable .htaccess, when user will not need to edit .htaccess file several times, but just set an appropriate permissions of it before installations and set safe permissions after installations. This will be very useful and will make installations more flexible and instant

Accepted. We will add this functionality in our script. We will make it work in the following way - after plugin/package installation the script will offer to rebuild .htaccess file if you have writable permissions for it. It is up to webmasters to choose what way to use.

Hi,
I have created a simple patch. Please try it. Set chmod 777 for your .htaccess file in Subrion root directory. Simply reupload the files from package to your working version. Let us know if it should be improved in any way.
