Default You have to rebuilt .htaccess file

Sorry for this stupid question. But I don't understand this part at install of the Publishing Package ?

OK I download it but what the heck do I do with it?

I tried many times on my local server and just now on my live site and I download the file but I don't know what to do with it.

Hi Greg

When you install a package additional mod_rewrite rules should be added in .htaccess file. I suppose you remember plugin installation in eSyndiCat. Some plugins require you to modify .htaccess and add there some lines. In Subrion we tried to simplify this. When you install a new plugin or package you can generate a new code for that .htaccess file. You can click on Admin Panel -> Configuration and there you can see a tool to download or view its content.
So you just download the generated .htaccess file and upload it to the script root. That's all.

Ah ok, Greg this is what you are talking about. I will install the new version and check it out in a few days I really need to finish up a few things beforehand though.
