Add and disable emails

Would like to add email notification of article being approved to be sent to the authors email address.

Also, the ability to turn off the individual emails would be great. For instance I do not want to send an email every time I add a line-space or a period to a sentence of someone's article.

Email the Author (from the admin) feature would also be a great addition. There are times I want to email an individual and not send a bulk mail.
