Default Problems connecting to database

Sergey

Sorry about this morning was jabbering away to you but you seem not to be seeing my posts or what I was talking about, so left conversation.

I was having a problem for about 10 mins with not being able to connect to my site:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/gpulse/public_html/classes/xaDatabase.class.php on line 34
Could not connect: Too many connectionsCould not connect: Too many connections

Just wondered if it was a script problem or a database problem, as I doubt that there would have been too many connections, as hardly anyone knows about my site.

Loren, operators don't tell me your problem, they just asked to talk with you, no big deal. To increase maximal connections to your database server, you should talk with hosting administration. Good luck

Well I did actually repeat my problem in the first, but you were not seeing it as well as other probs that I had last night with a article author not being able to log in, i could be she couldn't, i will get to that in another thread if she still has probs...but no biggy as you say.

Of course I now have a problem...I am the hosting administrator! It's my hosting, however, I am only a reseller so I guess the guys could see what the problem was this morning and help me sort out why it went down....

Thanks anyway Hun...
