Making Article Image Avatar

At present what I have is a default image with Article on, when no photo is uploaded this is displayed, however, If a photo is added, this shows the first photo.

Anyway of making the default Article image the Authors Avatar instead?

See the probs I have is that when a photo is added it squeezes the text, making it narrower.

Anyway just a thought...

This is a good suggestion, Loren. Now I'm worked on xooArticles free version. In free version, authors can't attach images as in version 1.1, but they will can insert images directly into article body. Articles will have no avatars, instead of this they will use author avatar.

Sorry Petal, as you don't have a instant reply with this forum, I don't know when you have posted, and I haven't been well this weekend. Sorry for the late return.

The answer is yes that would be great to have the authors avatar instead of the default image if they have uploaded one, and if not then the default image. Is that possible? If so would be lovely to have that.

By the way, I have had very good feed back from experienced article writers who have submitted on such as Ezine etc. They all say my site is nice and easy to use, and layout really good, not knowing what it's like to use others, I was quite chuffed (pleased) So far then so good, and pat yourselves on the back lads!

Only one thing that is tiring is they often use word to put directly in and I have to come along and reformat it as it can put things all out of place. oh well such is life.. Cheers Flower

We can force paste any text as plain and yours users will must format article themselves in built in editor on your site. What do you think about it?

Thank You Petal for all that you have done for me, my site is certainly how I would like it...but it wouldn't of got there with out you!

As for forcing text into plain, actually just had a thought about this...it may affect my side too, so I am going to say leave it as it is for the moment Sergey.

When you are write reply in advanced mode a little lower there is a select box with title 'Notification Type:', you can choose type of notification there. Also, when you are reading thread, take note of top menu, 'Thread Tools' -> 'Subscribe to this Thread'.
