Categories Management in Articles Package

Greetings,

I got a request to explain how to manage categories in our publishing package. Here I will try to explain how to do that

Make sure you have publishing package installed.

1. Login as Admin to your Admin Console
2. On left you can see a separate box - Publishing. Click Manage Articles (see attached file)
3. There you can see 2 icons - Add Article, Add Category

Click Add Category icon and you will be redirected to a page where you can create new category for your articles. That's all. If you want to delete the category - simply go into it and you will see a button to delete it.

Hello, I have set publishing package to be in the same folder where core is installed (root).
I have created some test categories in admin area.
How do I display categories on homepage?

Could you please post a link to your web site? Besides, I suppose they will be displayed once you add some articles in them. They are not displayed if they don't have articles

Vasily B., starweb there is edit file packages/publishing/index.php packages/publishing/templates/index.tpl required.
