Subrion vs Esyndicat

what is the different between esyndicat index directory and subrion web directory script ?

Subrion is a core system, then you can add packages to the core system, like the web directory, the classified and then the article system to make a larger site experience.

The directory package isn't as full featured as Esyndicat yet, but after some time it will be pretty close.

The classified isn't released yet so I cannot comment on it.

The article system is pretty good and my users enjoy it.

I don't think any of them. That I cannot answer for you because I have never used the Free version. Sorry I couldn't be of more help about that. You should be able to get a decent answer to your question relatively soon by one of the staff since this is the beginning of their work day.

Here are my 2 cents here. Subrion CMS is more complex and flexible system. It's built on three years of eSyndiCat development experience and we tried to take into account all our mistakes and make it much better. Subrion plugin system is easier to use. More hooks added.
Now Subrion Web Directory package does not have all the features like eSyndiCat BUT it's just a matter of the close time. Subrion CMS is going to be the leading product of our company and we will pay greater attention to this software.

So if you don't need anything specific better go with Subrion. Anyway, it will have all the features of eSyndiCat quite soon

Free version does not include any of this packages. It is just a simple article directory script with a limited set of functionality. Anyway it's worth trying
