What's in the pipeline.

Very happy with the article package, but I feel there are some important things missing.
Hopefully they are in the pipeline.

1. Someway for members to edit their articles after they have been submitted,
Members may want to change their links or make changes to their articles.

2. There dose not seem to be a resource box for the authors to define their selves in their particular filed of expertise.

3. No way to display top authors on the article site.

4. No way to mass e-mail members should I need to inform them of site downtime or other.

5. There appears no way to inform publishers of new content added to the site.

6. No way to receive content from other publishing sources, such as UAW, Isnare, Article Marketer, and others.

Maybe some of theses things are already available in the publishing package but I can not find them.
It’s important to me to be able to build a relationship with my members and publishers.

You need an auto responder and a newsletter system.

I have them, but most of my sites I own that run on a PHP script have functions to run that sort of thing from the script it’s self. It’s going to be a lot of work to keep informing members of updates and such running this with Aweber. Don’t really need 50 + emails a day from members asking how to edit their articles.

2. Don't understand you, may be you need additional field? You can create additional field in the admin panel that will be visible on member details page.
3. Not 'out of the box', but we can make it for you in 15 minutes.
4. Added this in todo list.
5. Something like subscription for all new articles?

1. Found it, totally did not see that, thanks.

2. What I was looking at is. When a author submits article there is no defined resource box for them to use, only the body of the article.

Body [detailed description of your article]:

Editor of Article body :

((Authors resource box: ??? ))

Category [Select category from the list]:

5. Something like subscription for all new articles? (( Yes that would do it, check box to receive notification, un-check to stop.

Add account, in admin panel, I receive a lot of articles by email, someway to receive theses and store them in the data base would be grate, then I could add them manually from the data-base, auto generate a user name and password , then auto email them to confirm their account is open.

This article script as the potential to be the best on the web, so happy I chosen it above the rest I looked at.
